Tens of thousands of worshippers performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque despite tightened Israeli military measures in and around occupied Jerusalem.
Large numbers of worshippers gathered at the mosque from the early morning hours amid heightened restrictions and a heavy Israeli military presence throughout Jerusalem’s Old City and surrounding areas.
