Gaza’s Health Ministry said more than 16,500 Palestinians in need of medical treatment abroad remain unable to leave the Gaza Strip, accusing Israel of restricting medical evacuations despite a ceasefire being in place. The ministry said limitations on crossings have delayed the transfer of patients requiring specialized care and called for greater access to medical evacuations.
