British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak praised Jordan’s initiative to airdrop humanitarian aid to Gaza during a meeting with Jordan’s King Abdullah. Jordan’s efforts, including a video showing the king participating in the airdrop, were commended by Sunak. He also reiterated the UK’s commitment to easing aid access and addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Prior to this, Sunak had urged lsrael to fully open the Kerem Shalom crossing to facilitate the delivery of international aid in a conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
