Türkiye submitted a petition to join the world court genocide case against Israel, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Monday. Erdogan stated that the parliamentary legal team presented the petition to the International Court of Justice in The Hague on Wednesday. He emphasized Türkiye’s commitment to ending the “barbarism” that led to the deaths of 40,000 people in Gaza over the past 10 months. Erdogan affirmed that despite the atrocities, Türkiye and its people continued to support the Palestinians, standing with them in their struggle for existence.
