Türkiye has maintained its trade ban on Israel, allowing imports only for the Palestinian Authority upon their request, Trade Minister Omer Bolat announced. As of May 2, Türkiye has fully suspended Israel-related trade due to Israel’s refusal to agree to a Gaza ceasefire and its blockade of humanitarian aid. Bolat noted that customs initially slowed Israel-related processing, reducing trade by 30-40% monthly, but on April 9, Türkiye took a firmer stance, halting exports of over 1,000 products to Israel.
