The head of Turkey’s delegation at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague called for an immediate end to “Israel’s barbaric attacks targeting civilians” and demanded accountability for those responsible during South Africa’s case against Israel. The Turkish delegation, led by Cuneyt Yuksel, Chairman of the Parliamentary Justice Committee and AK Party Istanbul Deputy, emphasized the need for a swift resolution to the genocide case at the ICJ, accusing Israel of violating the Genocide Convention with its actions in Gaza. Yuksel expressed Turkey’s stance against oppression and called for an end to Israel’s attacks on civilians, hoping that the ICJ’s outcome would bring relief to the international community’s conscience.
