In the scorching heat of Gaza’s summer, amidst sewage-filled streets and bomb-ravaged ruins, a group of women gathered at a tent mosque in Deir Al Balah. On June 4, six women achieved a remarkable feat: reciting the entire Quran from memory in one sitting. Shaymaa Abualatta, 20, documented the emotional event, recounting tears of gratitude among the participants. “Witnessing such devotion amidst adversity was deeply moving,” Shaymaa reflected.
