Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa met with US Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen today to discuss efforts to achieve a ceasefire and halt what he described as the Israeli genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. Mustafa informed the senator about the government’s plans to improve service quality and governance across various sectors, including energy security, healthcare, education, finance, digital transformation, economic growth, and development. He also stressed the importance of preserving UNRWA to ensure continued support for Palestinian refugees amid the ongoing aggression. Mustafa affirmed that the Palestinian Authority remains committed to providing essential services in Gaza, including healthcare, education, water, and electricity.
