PM Mustafa, OIC chief discuss developments of ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestine

Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa and OIC Secretary-General Hussein Ibrahim Taha discussed the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people during a meeting in Jeddah. They addressed the financial blockade imposed by the Israeli government on Palestinians and their institutions. PM Mustafa informed Taha about the Palestinian government’s priorities, including emergency relief in Gaza, economic recovery, and reconstruction. He emphasized the need for international efforts to end the alleged genocide and ensure sustainable humanitarian aid access throughout Gaza. Mustafa also highlighted the importance of promoting Palestinian rights in international forums, including expanding recognition of the State of Palestine and securing full UN membership. Taha reaffirmed the OIC’s commitment to supporting Palestinian rights, reinforcing their resilience, and opposing Israeli occupation policies.
