‘No Oxygen, Water’ – Kamal Adwan Hospital Hit by Israeli Strikes (Palestine Chronicle)

Israeli shelling has rendered Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza inoperable, cutting off water, electricity, and oxygen supplies since Saturday evening. Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the hospital’s director, reported extensive damage from shelling, which injured staff and patients and destroyed critical infrastructure, including fuel and oxygen tanks. Fires and a power outage have further paralyzed the hospital, leaving surgeries impossible and endangering patients reliant on oxygen. Munir Al-Barsh of Gaza’s Health Ministry warned of impending deaths among children and critically ill patients. The Ministry has urgently called for international intervention to stop attacks on healthcare facilities and address the worsening humanitarian crisis.
