Jewish activist condemns Germany for silencing pro-Palestine voices

Udi Raz is among a growing number of anti-Zionist Jews in Germany actively campaigning against Israel’s actions in Gaza, where the death toll has surpassed 34,000 Palestinians. A prominent Jewish peace activist in Berlin, Raz criticized German authorities for suppressing the Palestine solidarity movement. He has led calls for the German government to halt weapons sales to Israel. Raz spoke out against proposed regulations that could penalize students for participating in pro-Palestine rallies. He accused the government of attempting to silence and suppress them, condemning violations of their democratic rights. Germany ranks second as Israel’s weapons supplier, with 47 percent of Israeli imports coming from Germany according to SIPRI.
