Israel bombs yet another UN-run school in Gaza, killing 17

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) estimates that clearing Gaza’s rubble from the recent conflict will take 15 years, requiring 40 million tonnes of debris removal. The cleanup will need over 100 trucks and cost more than $500 million. The debris poses a threat due to unexploded ordnance, harmful substances, and asbestos contamination, and includes buried human remains.
