Israel accused of act of genocide over restriction of Gaza water supply (The Guardian)

Human Rights Watch (HRW) has accused Israel of committing genocide and crimes against humanity by restricting Gaza’s water supply below minimum needs. In its investigation of Israeli attacks on Gaza’s water infrastructure during a 14-month war, HRW found deliberate actions aimed at severely limiting access to clean water, forcing residents to use contaminated sources. This has led to deadly disease outbreaks, particularly among children. HRW argues that these actions, coupled with statements from Israeli ministers about cutting Gaza’s water supply, demonstrate intent and have resulted in the deaths of thousands of Palestinians.
