Hazem Farjallah, his head wrapped in bandages, cries out while lying in a Gaza hospital corridor, comforted by his aunt, as he continues to suffer from injuries inflicted by Israeli bombardment. The 10-year-old remains unable to speak since the strike on a U.N. school where he sought shelter, bearing visible shrapnel wounds across his back, chest, and head. “He’s been on the floor for days. He’s supposed to be in the ICU. There are no beds,” his aunt, Umm Nasser, lamented in a video obtained by Reuters. Hazem has since been moved to a bed after enduring days without proper medical care.
