Gaza students face uncertain future as war disrupts education

Teenagers in Gaza should have been taking their final exams this month, but the war has crushed those hopes. According to Gaza’s education ministry, 85% of educational facilities are out of service. “I was eagerly awaiting the exams, but the war destroyed that joy,” said
18-year-old Baraa al-Farra, displaced from Khan Younis. “We don’t know how long it will last or how many years it will deprive us of our education.”
