Gaza officials warn health system ‘hours from collapse’ due to fuel shortage

The health ministry in Gaza warned Monday that the territory’s health system is “hours away” from collapse due to blocked fuel shipments through key crossings. The ministry stated that without the necessary fuel, hospitals, ambulances, and vehicles transporting staff cannot operate. Meanwhile, Israeli forces pushed deep into northern Gaza to reclaim an area previously claimed to be cleared of Hamas. Simultaneously, tanks and troops advanced into Rafah at the enclave’s opposite end.
