Fear for patients as hospital loses power

Israel is facing global criticism over the rising death toll and severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where over 900,000 Palestinians have been displaced in just two weeks, now lacking shelter, food, water, and medicine. Al-Aqsa Hospital medical director Iyad al-Jabri warned that without fuel for generators, patients, especially those in the ICU, incubators, and those relying on dialysis, face death due to the lack of electricity. Israeli tanks and troops are advancing in Rafah’s southeast, moving toward the densely populated western district while continuing operations in three eastern suburbs, where they encounter fierce resistance from Palestinian fighters.
