The Palestinian government has welcomed the European Union’s approval of an emergency financial aid package, describing it as a crucial step in addressing the severe financial and economic crisis worsened by ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza. The European Commission has approved €400 million in aid, which will be provided in grants and loans over three installments in the coming months. This support is intended to help mitigate the crisis and strengthen national institutions’ ability to serve citizens. The Palestinian government also expressed its commitment to securing additional international and Arab support to further improve the financial and economic situation in Palestine.
