The death toll from an Israeli air strike on a UN-run school in central Gaza has risen to 40, including 14 children and nine women. The attack on the Nuseirat refugee camp also injured 74 civilians, including 23 children and 18 women. Palestinian authorities report that Israeli forces have attacked at least 149 shelters in Gaza since last October.
