Catholic Church releases images of damage and calls for end to ‘senseless conflict’ after two women ‘killed by Israeli snipers’

The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem – the Catholic Church authority in Israel – has described the war in Gaza as a “senseless conflict” and called for it to end. An Israeli soldier reportedly killed two Christian women who had taken refuge in a church complex on Saturday. The Patriarchate said previously that an IDF sniper shot them as they walked to a convent in the compound of the Holy Family Parish.
