At least 39 people were killed by Israeli strikes across northern Gaza on Saturday, according to Palestinian and hospital officials. Fadel Naem, director of al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City, reported receiving over three dozen bodies. The Palestinian Civil Defense said emergency workers were digging for survivors in the Shati refugee camp and had pulled several dozen bodies from a building hit in an eastern neighborhood of Gaza City.
