Israeli strikes kill 6 in Gaza, including kids and UN worker, as truce talks show signs of progress

Separate Israeli airstrikes killed at least six people in central Gaza on Friday, including two children and a United Nations worker, according to Palestinian hospital officials and first responders. Despite stalled cease-fire talks between Israel and Hamas showing renewed momentum, nearly 2 million Palestinians, four out of every five people in Gaza, have been driven to the territory’s center by expanding Israeli military offensives and evacuation orders. Civilians are sheltering in makeshift tent camps and crowded urban areas, with many displaced multiple times.
