At least 30 people have been killed and many injured in Israeli strikes on two UN-run schools in western Gaza City. Dr. Marwan al-Hams, director of hospitals in Gaza’s Ministry of Health, reported the death toll to Al Jazeera. According to the Palestinian Civil Defence, 80% of those affected in the strikes on the Hassan Salama and al-Nasr schools were children. The schools, used as shelters by displaced Palestinians, have been severely damaged.
